Dr. Valentin Ekiaka Nzai is an internationally known multilingual-multicultural Professor of Teacher & Bilingual Education and Graduate Coordinator at Texas A&M University-Kingsville with over 15 years of professional experience. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, from St Augustine – Asuma Philosophate, Kinshasa, Congo DRC; a Masters of Business Administration, from Centro De Estudios Avanzados in Administración, Mexico City; a Masters of Sciences in Leadership Education and a Doctorate of Education from University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA. He has an impressive record of publications in peer reviewed Journals and have presented at local, regional, state, national and international professional conferences as keynote speaker, lead and co-lead presenter. He has an active proficiency in 6 word languages and a passive proficiency in 8 word languages including English, Spanish and French. He is currently the Principal Investigator for the Virtual Multilingual Project, The Multilingual-Multicultural (50/50 & 33/33/33) Teacher Education for Peace Building & Global Competitiveness and Pax & Koinonia Retreats Model.
His research focuses on interculturality and Peace building competence development; multilingual -multicultural teacher education; cyber/3D virtual worlds and digital game –based curriculum for languages learning; intercultural dialogue and religious fundamentalism’s mitigation and intercultural marriages minority – minority.
